University of the Philippines Biology Majors’ Association (UP BIOMAS)

UP Biology Majors Association is more than just a home organization for biology majors. Guided by teamwork, creativity, and commitment, it transcends its purpose of being at the service of the Bioman community to reach farther out into science-related formations. It aims to forge and foster camaraderie among students through fun and meaningful projects. It also merges scientific knowledge and public service through publications and partnerships that promote biology as a science. UP BIOMAS aims to provide a holistic college experience that inculcates in its members a deep concern and care for the environment and the systems that support it, so that they emerge from the program not only with technical skills and knowledge but also a heart set in advocacy and meaning.

University of the Philippines Biological Sciences Society (UP BSS)

The UP Biological Sciences Society of the University of the Philippines – Manila, founded in 1972, is the oldest academic, non-profit, university-wide-biology-based organization in UPM. It prides itself with the vision of supporting the welfare of students in their academic and non-academic pursuits through activities that enlighten and inspire students in their journey to their future careers. With our motto “To Greater Heights”, we produce several projects, such as Crush ng Bio, MedTalk, Toxic, and more, to promote unity, civic consciousness, environmental awareness, and academic learning that will foster appreciation and awareness of the biological sciences.

UP Manila Biorhythm

UP Manila Biorhythm is a college-based organization established in the College of Arts and Sciences in 1999. Our organization's vision is to uphold the cause of musically talented and artistic students. Our mission is to inspire and inculcate the ideals and aspirations of its constituents by promoting cultural and national awareness in the field of music, enhancing and developing skills in singing, and encouraging camaraderie and unity among talented Biology students. As an organization that promotes appreciation of music, practice sessions are frequently held to hone the skills of our members. We share our talents to other people either by performing in various events that we are invited to perform (usually within the university), by hosting special events such as "Harana", caroling sessions, etc., or by posting videos online. We hope to inspire the youth with our music and voices while making music like no other.
