Cruz, Joey Andrea
As genomic data become more widely available, the need for powerful computing resources to process the large volume of data becomes more critical. As a result, researchers are now gearing towards cloud computing. However, there is loss of direct control by the researchers upon their data as they outsource computations, leaving the donors of genomic data vulnerable to exploitation. Homomorphic encryption has become a technique of interest in providing genomic privacy in outsourced computation as it preserves the utility of data in mathematical opera- tions. It is a cryptographic technique that allows the encryption of data and then carrying out computation without decryption. This study proposes a scheme that uses fully homomorphic encryption, using Simple Arithmetic Encrypted Library (SEAL), developed by Microsoft Research.

Yu, Berwin Jarret
Privacy and veri ability are the two most important properties in voting systems.
We created YuVote that satis es these properties using homomorphic encryption.
Elliptic curve cryptography is also used to provide more security. Specifi cally, the
Elliptic ElGamal Cryptosystem is used by YuVote.

Valdez, Romeo Jr.
Strabismus or "crossed eyes" is the misalignment of the eyes wherein each eye
may go in di fferent directions. Various treatment procedures are being off ered to
correct strabismus. Several traditional vision training techniques are considered
to cure this kind of eye condition. However, people fi nd these vision training
techniques to be uninteresting and boring because of lack in user engagement.
Because of this, serious games are used to promote user engagement, interest, and
active participation among subjects towards vision therapies. A virtual reality
application can be used to implement serious games for treating strabismus.
STRIVE-VR is a virtual reality application that provides vision training techniques incorporated with gami cation with in-game objectives to be performed by
the subject with strabismus.

Uy, John Bengemin
The Philippines' blood donor count at the present time is unable to reach quota needed
to have su fficient blood supply due to the lack of blood donors which can be rooted to
the low awareness of people with regards to blood donation. This project's purpose is to
create a mobile application equipped with the information the Philippine National Red
Cross provides to a prospective blood donor in order to donate blood consequently and to
increase awareness for blood donation.
