dc.description.abstract Zamboanga del Norte is found in the northwestern part of the island of Mindanao in southern Philippines. Among the people who live here are the Subanon who practice the tradition of Taltal, their so-called wedding ceremony. The study focuses on the practice pf the Taltal in Brgy. Serongan, Manukan, Zamboanga del Norte. The research was through enthographic method. The data gathered showed that the Taltal is the most visible manifestation of the Subanon culture as it reflects the community's religion, politics, economy, and family. en_US
