This study looked into the effects of contract labor outmigration on children of migrant workers. The population consisted of 66 students ranging from second year to fourth year high school from Ramon Magsaysay (Cubao) High School. Data were collected using a scale which measured the student’s ability to cope with financial, academic, peer, and familial problems.
Results showed that there was no statistically significant difference between children of migrant and non-migrant workers in their ability to cope with the four problem categories namely financial, academic, peer, and familial problems. |
