dc.description.abstract Glaucoma is an eye disease that damages the optic nerve. It worsens the visual fi eld starting from the midperiphery and may develop towards the center. The most common test to detect glaucoma is the standard automated perimetry (SAP). However, glaucoma is detected only when 40% of the optic nerve is already damaged. Additionally, functional parameters that may a ffect visual performance of people with glaucoma are not tested in SAP. People with glaucoma are still able to complete tasks but performs slower compared to people with normal vision. Glaucoma-VR is a mobile application that provides virtual environment with objectives to be accomplished by the user. The visual processing speed is the functional parameter used to assess the visual function of a user in the assessment tests. en_US
