dc.description.abstract STRIDE Protein Topology Cartoon Generator and Database (SPTCGaD) is a system which converts 3D representation of protein domains to its 2D form based on the knowledge-algorithm STRuctural IDEntification (STRIDE). 2D representations are used since it gives better visualization of the structures that builds up the protein unlike its 3D form which may pose complexity especially when dealing with multiple and architecturally complex protein domains. The classification of protein domains used in the system is Class, Architecture, Topology and Homologous Structures (CATH) which describes a more defined domain definition focusing only on the two main secondary structure: alpha helix and beta strand. en_US
