MS Applied Physics students join ART School in Thailand
Five MS Applied Physics (Medical Physics) students from the University of the Philippines Manila (UPM) participated in the Princess Srisavangavadhana College of Medicine’s (PSCM) School in Adaptive Radiation Therapy (ART) held at the Chulabhorn Royal Academy, Bangkok, Thailand last December 12-14, 2024. The students who attended were Jericho Joege Paler, Christine Loja, Vidal Villanueva Jr., Mystica Jayce Pueyo, and Jasmine Pua.
Over 150 participants were present in the event, which held a 2-day lecture session and 1-day hands-on exercise giving them first-hand insights about ART. During the event, first-year student Mystica Jayce Pueyo, won a special top scorer award for the hands-on session quiz.
