The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) is very proud for being awarded a Certificate of Recognition for achieving 100% submission compliance of the Individual Performance Commitment and Review (IPCR)/Performance Evaluation System (PES) Targets for July to December 2025.
The recognition was conferred during the UP Manila Flag Raising Ceremony last August 11, 2025, led by the Human Resource Development Office (HRDO), held at the College of Nursing Auditorium, Sotejo Hall.
Receiving the award on behalf of CAS were Dean Dr. Ma. Teresa De Guzman, Associate Dean for Planning and Development Dr. Jay T. Dalet, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Dr. Jasper John A. Obico, Associate Dean for Research and Public Service Dr. Dindo P. Cafe and Supervising Administrative Officer Anna Marie R. Demeterio, along with dedicated members of the CAS administrative staff.
The IPCR is a crucial performance management tool used to ensure that individual contributions are aligned with institutional goals. CAS’s 100% compliance is a clear demonstration of the college’s commitment to accountability, transparency, and excellence in public service—values that are central to its mission and vision.
This milestone also reinforces CAS’s unwavering dedication to its primary stakeholders—the students. By ensuring that all administrative personnel are fully engaged and aligned with the university’s objectives, CAS upholds its goal of providing high-quality, student-centered service.
Moreover, this achievement supports UN Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, by fostering an environment where the performance of every individual contributes meaningfully to the advancement of inclusive and equitable education.
Once again, congratulations to the entire CAS community! This recognition is not just a certificate—it is a reflection of our collective commitment to excellence, service, and continuous improvement.
