PUBLISHED: “A feminist analysis of colonial representations of Visayan women at the 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exhibition” by Dr. Jose
UP Manila College of Arts and Sciences’ Dr. Maria Dorothy dL. Jose of the CAS Department of Social Sciences published her work titled: “A feminist Analysis of Colonial Representations of Visayan Women at the 1940 Louisiana Purchase Exposition”.
The paper was also delivered during the 2021 Annual Philippine Studies Conference held last June 26, 2022. The paper is part of Dr. Jose’s dissertation entitled “Kababaihan, Potograpiya, at Kasaysayan: Isang Pagsususri sa Imahen ng Kababaihan sa Potograpiyang Kolonyal sa Harap ng Imperyalismong Amerikano”.
