Congratulations Dr. Jay T. Dalet and Dr. Ma. Teresa G. De Guzman of the Department of Biology – CAS, UP Manila and Department of Behavioral Sciences, CAS-UPManila in your recognition!
Dr. Dalet and Dr. De Guzman received their recognition for being keynote speakers during the International Conference on Trends in Forensics, Law and Criminology Empowering Criminal Justice in 21st Century and Beyond held in West Bengal National University at Kolkata, India between March 20-22, 2024.
The presentations given by Dr. De Guzman and Dr. Dalet focused on the “Challenges and Innovations in Humanitarian Forensics and Disaster Victim Identification in the Philippines” and “Application of Fluorescent Nucleic Acid Probes in Cell Type Targeting alongside RNA and DNA-based Technologies for Forensic Casework Analysis of Biological Evidences”, respectively. Dr. De Guzman was also recognized as Chair of the technical session on “Advancements in Behavioral Forensics since the New Millennium”.
Both Dr. Dalet and Dr. De Guzman were recognized by the Indian Association of Medico-Legal Experts (IAMLE) as Honorary Members for their valuable contribution in upholding the advancement and technological innovations in forensic science.
