UP Manila wins 2nd runner-up in PACSiklaban 2024
Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biochemistry students of the University of the Philippines Manila (UPM) won 2nd runner-up in PACSiklaban 2024 held last May 5, 2024 at the Plenary Hall of the Henry Sy building of the College of Medicine. This intercollegiate quiz competition is part of the National Chemistry Student’s Congress (NCSC) 2024, organized by the Philippine Association of Chemistry Students (PACS).
The team was composed of Kurt Nathaniel Baligod, Crisandro Allen Lazo, Rhythm Cabrera, Kyle Louie Vitug, Carl Arjan Ramos, Claude Simon Naco, and Sid Alfred Gamboa. The head coach is Mr. Neil Tristan Sacayanan.
A total of 14 teams have participated in this year’s competition. UP Manila has always performed very well in this competition since 2005, winning the contest in 2011 and 2016.
