UP Manila Computer Science Students win 2nd runner-up in HackFest 2024
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science students of the University of the Philippines Manila (UPM) won 2nd runner up in HackFest 2024: Fusion held on May 4, 2024 at the Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU). The team consisted of Jonathan Baes, Christian Jesse Bonifacio, Ma. Estela Leonila Malunes, Alyssa Surban, and Alexine Salazar.
 
Thirty-five teams from all over the country participated. The top ten teams showcased their projects in the final round with the goal to pitch an effective solution which includes Prototype and Marketing Plan that will entice those called “Gen Zs” to join Amway.
 
Hackfest 2024: Fusion is organized by the Google Developer Student Clubs Loyola (GDSC-L), a student organization powered by Google Developers based in Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU) and Globe Telecom.
