The Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage Systems (MWSS), led by MWSS Chief Regulator Atty. Patrick Lester N. Ty, and in partnership with Maynilad Water Services, Inc., University of the Philippines (UP) Upsilon Sigma Phi Batch 1999 and UP Sigma Delta Phi. turned over one Refrigerated Drinking Fountain (RDF) unit to the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) on September 26, 2024.

The donation was accepted by UP Manila’s Chancellor Michael L. Tee, who also signed the Deed of Donation. Also present during the event were CAS Dean Maria Constancia O. Carrillo, UP Faculty Regent Hon. Carl Marc L. Ramota, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) Deputy Commissioner John Paulo V. Salvahan, UP Alumni Association President Robert Lester F. Aranton, UP Student Regent Hon. Francesca Mariae M. Duran, and SVP & Head of the Customer Experience & Retail Operations of Maynilad Christopher J. Lichauco.
