UPM College of Arts and Sciences holds Orientation Program for New Faculty Members

The University of the Philippines Manila College of Arts and Sciences community formally welcomed and recognized its newest faculty members through an orientation program: CAS New Faculty Orientation held at the UPM CAS Theater last September 3, 2025. The event was conducted to acquaint the faculty with the college vision, mission, academic culture, and to provide them camaraderie and support.
 
There were 17 new faculty members in total, participating in the program, 12 of them are full-time faculty while 5 are part-time instructors. The event highlighted essential matters including the enrollment process, student evaluation for teaching, student academic concerns and many more to ensure that the new faculty are well prepared and equipped as they embark on their teaching career.
 
The activity also emphasized the significance of fostering collaboration and commitment to academic excellence, values that the college continues to uphold. The CAS prioritizes quality education for all students to contribute to their career growth and future success. By extending a warm welcome to its newest educators, UPM reinforces its dedication to shaping a strong academic community for both faculty and students alike.
