Third Time’s A Charm: Professor Todd L. Lowary teaches UPM Biochemistry students for third straight Acad Year
Dr. Todd L. Lowary has been appointed Adjunct Professor of the Chemistry-Biochemistry unit of the Department of Physical Sciences and Mathematics, CAS, UP Manila (DPSM) for the third straight academic year (AY 2025-2026). Dr. Lowary is currently teaching CHEM 197, an elective course on Special Topics in Chemistry (glycobiology and glycochemistry) for BS Biochemistry students.
Asked for comment about his teaching experience with the BS Biochemistry students, Dr. Lowary has this to say: “It’s been fun to teach the senior Biochemistry students. I’ve found them to be engaged, keen to work hard, and motivated do well.”
Outside the college, Dr. Lowary is the Director of the Institute of Biological Chemistry of the Academia Sinica in Taipei, Taiwan. This partnership with Dr. Lowary is a renewed commitment towards quality education and internationalization of the BS Biochemistry program of DPSM.
