UP System Online Services

The UP Mail (@up.edu.ph) is an email service available to all currently enrolled UP students and employed faculty and staff (whether regular, contractual or ICS (Individual Contract of Service), and offices in partnership with Google. A UP Mail account is normally needed to access the different online services of the University.

The Student Academic Information System (SAIS) is a comprehensive data management system designed to manage student processes and records. SAIS is capable of handling processes that cover the entire student life cycle: from admission, registration, to enrollment to graduation and alumni tracking. The system is also capable of obtaining, processing, retrieving, and updating student, faculty, and alumni information, as well as academic master data such as curricula and course information.

This online service is used for enrollment, submission of grades and viewing of grades.

The Student Financial Assistance Online (SFA Online) gathers information to expedite the processing of applications from students who wish to obtain financial assistance. It is a web-based program that collects data on household income as well as the socio-economic characteristics of the household of students. These data are processed to determine the financial support that match a student’s needs. This service is used primarily in the application in the University’s Socialized Tuition System.

UP Manila Online Services

The Authentication and Directory Service (ADS) serves as a single sign-on account of UPM faculty, staff and students for accessing most of the online services managed by UPM. The ADS account is primarily used for Internet access in the UPM network.

Virtual Private Network (VPN) Access is a service that allows faculty, staff and students to access the different online services that are only available in the UPM network (e.g. journal subscriptions). An ADS account is needed to access this service.

iLib (Integrated Library System) is the library catalog system of UP Manila. With this service, you can search for different resources (e.g. books) available on all UP Manila libraries and check on their status (e.g. available, reserved, on loan).

The Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) is a Moodle-powered online learning management system of UPM where most of the online materials of the various course offerings are uploaded. An ADS account is needed in order to access the VLE service.
